This page describes how job applicants consent to receive text messages from Shreeganpatidada LLC, doing business as Best Western Plus O'Hare ("we", "us"), and shows the opt-in as an applicant sees it.
We do not collect phone numbers on this website. Applicants opt in inside the job application on Indeed, which is where we post our open positions. An example of a live job posting is our Hotel Night Auditor position: https://www.indeed.com/job/hotel-night-auditor-9092b530262f6721.
Because the application form is hosted by Indeed and only appears after an applicant starts an application, screenshots of each step are reproduced below.
This messaging program belongs to Shreeganpatidada LLC, doing business as Best Western Plus O'Hare, an independently owned and operated Best Western franchisee at 3001 N Mannheim Rd, Franklin Park, IL 60131.
Our Indeed employer profile displays the franchise brand name "Best Western", which is set by the franchise account and cannot be edited by us. Everything we control uses our registered name, Best Western Plus O'Hare: the job posting text, the consent question, and every text message we send.
Every job posting we publish includes the following disclosure in the job description, before the applicant begins the application:
Text message updates: If you provide your mobile number and answer yes to the consent question in this application, Best Western Plus O'Hare will send you text messages about your application, such as confirming your interest and arranging a time for a short phone call. Message frequency varies; typically 2–4 messages per application. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. The application includes a separate screener question asking the applicant to agree to receive text messages:
Do you agree to receive text messages from Best Western Plus O'Hare about your application at the mobile number you provide? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of employment. Type YES to agree.
The answer field is a free-text box provided by Indeed. It is empty by default, nothing is pre-selected or pre-filled, and the applicant must type their answer themselves. The question is optional — it is not marked required, and an applicant can submit the application without answering it. We treat only an affirmative answer as consent; a blank or negative answer means we do not text that applicant.
A separate application question asks for the best number to reach the applicant. We only text applicants who both answered Yes to the consent question and provided a mobile number.
These are the messages an applicant who opts in may receive:
Hi [Name], this is Best Western Plus O'Hare about your application for [Position]. Are you still interested? If so, what day and time works for a short call? Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg&data rates may apply.
Thanks [Name] — we have you down for [Day] at [Time] for a call about the [Position] role at Best Western Plus O'Hare. Reply STOP to opt out.
Reply STOP to any message at any time and we will not text you again. Opting out of texts does not withdraw a job application. Full details are in our Terms and Conditions.
